Most cases have a DM in around one year. Even with Covid we are seeing people from the end of 2019 and early 2020 getting DM. I'm not saying my case will be one of those, but the norm is one year or less.

New Year, still no new. I was so hopeful to get something before the end of the year, I guess it wasn't meant to be. I just hope things just gain speed after AOR because if it keeps going like this, it will be almost impossible to get DM before the 12 months timeline.

If you are not in Canada, you can also send a webform and ask them if they received your application in Sydney. They take around 2 weeks for them to reply. And yes, that's the number. Canada only, Monday to Friday.

Unfortunately you'll have to wait. Good news is, I think they have been talking about reopening.

It just means there is no space to explain in the application form, so you have to use a blank page to write the explanation. Just make sure you write the form number and question number in that separate page. Every time you need to add extra information that doesn't fit in the form you need to...

I know that my file was received because I sent a webform. I also can't link my application. I still don't have AOR and you need AOR to be able to link your file. The mailing company I used couldn't tell me if my file was delivered or not, so I sent a webform to IRCC asking if they had my file...

My confusion with all of this is why are they sending AOR and SA to August applicants if April is still more than half waiting. Even if they are working in batches and some workers are faster than others, it doesn't make sense. I understand some cases are more complex and take longer, but AOR...
