I found doing the passport verification instead of the birth place. I also did uci #. Also as previous poster mentioned you can only link the file to one gckey account.

Ah ok, we submitted ourselves.

Mine was on GCkey.. where it normally says "submitted" it had "Application/profile updated" when i clicked on it there was no visable updates for me to see.

I applied for permanent residency under the spousal sponsorship. She was saying that although I will get permanent resident status I don't necessarily receive a permanent resident card. She said that having status and a card are two separate things. I thought that once my permanent resident...

Sorry i am unfamiliar of the history there but your baby would be able to have your status if he/she is born here in Canada. Maybe Your girlfriend could come as vistor and apply inland to be a PR. Only downfall is all of her doctor appt and birth cost fall on you to pay.

So i was having a conversation with someone who said that even though i may get my permanent resident status approved i will not get a PR card.. is this true?
