My pre-arrival letter was received on dec 3rd, 2019. I hope this is a good sign?

My medicals were passed on november 24 2019, yet no sign of DM!!

Yes I am in the same situation too, already passed 100% mark since May 16 2020. I did my medicals and passed it in Dec 2019 also sent my police certificates. From Dec 2019 up to this date no sign of any updates. I also sent a web form to check the status. Corona is the issue delaying further...

Then why would they make one sign a declaration from the first place if they know that this person will not abide by it!

Am not an expert, but declaring to stay and signing a declaration would mean you are going to do what it says. Quebec has a different system to other parts of Canada even though it is part of it. Ethically, when you sign a declaration you should do what it says, otherwise why are they making you...

An intent to stay in Quebec means signing to or “will to stay in Quebec”. I would assume signing on a declaration to stay in Quebec (Schedule 5) and going to reside in other provinces would be an illegal act. If however, you become a Canadian citizen then that differs.

It means you are intending to stay in Quebec and no other province. Your address once you arrive should be a Quebec address as you have intended to stay in Quebec. Since you are applying for a skilled worker in Quebec then this means you will have ties to Quebec.

When yo receive a medical report request From IRCC, it will inform you when the medical due date is. You must send it within that time frame.

Usually a year from moment its done.

I applied federal on July 2018. Received AOR sept 2018. Asked for medicals nov 24, 2019, done and approved on 26 nov 2019. Asked for Police reports and sent on dec 3 2019. Still waiting DM as of this date!

For those of us that have already reached 100% of processing time, the decrease and increase in month timing does not really matter anymore! God help us, we are waiting and waiting ;(

Second wave of corona virus!

When the immigration authorities receive your payment for the landing fee and all necessary documents they asked after your medical report approval, you will receive the pre-arrival letter. Am saying this as per my experience.

I did my medical back in dec 2019, and provided my police certificates as well as per IRCC’ requisite. My medicals were approved in dec 2019 as well and it still says reviewing background check. Since then waiting for final decision!

No still! Although my processing time line has reached 100%. Like many others, we need to wait until this corona situation subsides.
