Yes you are right. I mean 2018 applications run in order before 2019. Yet I see 2019 applications getting pr while 2018 are still waiting.

Dont you think this is unfair for outland applications? Inland and outland should be treated alike. I understand processing their applications faster is righteous since they are already in Canada. Inland medical status (medical updates) can change in a year time like outlands as well!!

What is the difference may I know? Why are some assigned an analyst while others an agent? An agent will analyze your application too, right?

My meds expired November 24, 2020 (12 months validity). I called my lawyer and she said most likely they will ask for re-medicals again. On ECAS I still see my old medicals as (Medicals Received), no update on that.

How about July, August, September 2018? I am a July 2018 application candidate, still no sign of DM! Medicals were done and approved November 2019, Police certificates provided dec 2019 as well, however all expired by now! Don't know what are the next steps. Hoping all goes well.

As per my understanding, if the medicals expire, IRCC may ask you to do them again, or under their discretion waive the medicals since you got them done once. However, my lawyer said that in most circumstances they do ask you to do them again if they expire. I did mine on Nov 24, 2019, as such...

Why is your wife doing another medical exam if she passed it on December 30, 2019 with you. Did hers expire? The medicals are valid for a year, unless IRCC knows there will be a delay and for this reason they asked for another medical!
