Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Perhaps those in security screening are having their applications delayed until they are cleared. I just pray we get our PR's soon my friend. Good things happen to those who wait :)

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I applied in July 2018, 5 months before you applied. I am an outland which applied from the United States. I received my Pre-Arrival letter in Dec 2019, IRCC asked for police certificates they were sent a year ago. Also medicals were passed in 2019 and currently expired. I really don't know what...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Let us have faith in this delay. Perhaps it could be for the good. The time will come when we get our PR’s. Then when we look back at the time when we were waiting for the PR to come, we will know the reason why it was delayed. Let us be patient, good things happen to those who wait :)

From what I understand, once eligibility is finalized, the medical is provided, and it will not change to eligibility is finalized until you get COPR. So don't worry too much about eligibility! IRCC will not send you a medical request if eligibility is not completed. Since you did a medical...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

@Bafnamit @Leokun I have been waiting since December 2019, when status for background check said it is in progress. So, almost 13 months for me up to now! As such we really can’t say it takes three months. Each case is different and agents process files differently I am guessing.

Does your status say “background check is in progress“?

You need to pass the French test level (B2). Without it, you will have difficulty getting the CSQ (Certificat de selection de Quebec).

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I have the same exact responses, (July 2018 applicant) except that I did my medicals before your correspondence (number 5) and they were passed and thereafter received a response for the PCC's. My medicals expired November 2020 and I am waiting for the next reply from IRCC since then.

I hope all the hard work that went into immigrating to Canada turns well for all :)

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I am a july 2018 applicant. Many applicants with months prior to 2018 were not processed, which is very sad as they are older than oct, nov, dec 2018 and jan, feb, march 2019. This is why I say there is no correlation in depicting when anything in the applications is processed and how it is...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

My medicals came in before the criminality check was done. After I passed my medicals, 5 days later they sent a message for the Police Certificates. Then, I saw background check is in progress. Up to date, it still shows the same and my medicals expired in November 2020! So I guess there is...

I really don't understand this either. The e-mail sent to me by IRCC said the delay is due to Covid, but when I hear 2019 applicants getting their COPR's I begin to question otherwise.
