You need the application number that starts with E. With that you can call cic and the automated menu will read out the current status.

No, on Desktop you can see the signature under the post of the user. On mobile you can either rotate your phone or click on the profile of the user to see their signature.

You can click on the name of the user and check their profile. The signature would be at the bottom of the profile page.

So that means now the status changes for candidates when they move to IP2 unlike before when the status would change at the end of BG check. If so, would it be correct to assume that now the indefinite wait to PPR could be longer.

My UAE PCC has Immigration Dept. of Canada written on it, I don’t think that would be an issue. However, it also says that it is valid only for 3 months, I hope it would still be accepted as it was issued after my last visit.

I think the only change is that now you only need a PCC if you lived in a country for 6 months or more consecutively instead of cumulative. So PCC from foreign countries can still be accepted as long as you didn’t visit after obtaining the PCC.
