    Average processing time is 6 months(from the day R10 is passed). You will not get a status update via email before 6 months. You can order GCMS notes to see what activities have been performed on your application and what stages have been cleared.

    Usually they take around 14 days to stamp and then dispatch it.

    You won’t get any information about your application via web forms until you cross 6 months from the day you passed R10. Only way to get info about your application would be from gcms or by talking to a representative and asking the right questions.

    It is at their discretion, sometimes they ask to re do the medicals sometimes they don’t. Since you’ve got PPR after your medicals expired in May I think they most probably would have extended your medicals.

    The CoPR will be valid until your medicals/passport expires, whichever is earlier. You have to land before that. Once you land you are free to travel outside at anytime, however to re-enter Canada you will need a PR card or PRTD.

    Seems fine. They provided me the consent form so mine was unused. Also, don’t staple your documents as they ask you to remove it before submitting.

    Then you have to submit your passport to the VO mentioned in the PPR letter via VFS.

    After PPR its not really an issue. All they have to do is stamp your passport.

    After PPR, when you have your CoPR that’s when your application is approved. You have to land within the expiration date mentioned on your CoPR.

    Congrats The status will change to approved once your passport is stamped. You can call them to ask for a new letter with New Delhi mentioned as VO to submit your passport.

    You can ask them to issue another PPR with the visa office nearest to your location where you are on your travel.

    The date of issue on the stamp in my passport says 9th July so I think the tracker was updated on 13th July when they approved the application.
