No need to quote the number on the envelope. Inside is quite enough.

Concern on the medical exam redo!

It might just be that there wasn't enough, or maybe the sample was too diluted (from drinking too much water - that happens to me almost every time). Or maybe the technician analyzing it dropped a dirty spoon in there or something. :D This sort of thing happens. Don't worry too much about it...

Don't worry about it. In my COPR, both my Original entry date and Most recent entry date were wrong (I had travelled before and after both dates). I pointed this to the CBSA officer and she said it's fine. They're really not very concerned about this. Just make sure to note the error to them...

I know and it's OK! It's scary for sure, but you'll be fine. :D

Time taken for Passport Request after medical exam

No problem! Yes, there was a QA process happening last year mainly with Ontario applicants, which delayed the processing significantly for a lot of them (although the delay seemed to be with giving AORs and medical requests - once those were finally done, they started getting the finalizations...

March - April PNP PR Batch :)

My 3 latest updates have happened on a Monday, and one earlier on Tuesday. And yes I know this for sure because prior to getting DM I was checking ECAS every single day.

I'm not sure how this works. You can ask about it at Service Canada when you go update your SIN, or just call CRA!

PNP Nom wrong NOC code! Applying for PR through EE! HELP!

Call or visit the BC PNP office. Ask why they gave you the wrong code and explain that you've already received your ITA. If they made a mistake with your NOC code then they should be able to correct it - if it's just a typo they can issue you a new certificate with the right code and then you'll...

March - April PNP PR Batch :)

OK this is not entirely accurate... Look further back into the thred and you will see that most of these people are ones who sent their applications around May-August last year, but who got caught in the OPNP quality assurance deal. Instead of getting AOR and medical request in 2-3 months like...

After PR application is apporved - next steps

Congrats on being almost done! If you're an inland applicant and from a visa-exempt country, you will only need to send a copy of the ID page of your passport. No need to copy any of the stamped pages. That is, I only sent the ID page copy and that was enough. And yes, you buy one Xpresspost...

Time taken for Passport Request after medical exam

16 months is not typical by any means. I did my medicals last October and got PPR mid-May, so for me it was about 8 months. It's worth noting though that I got the medical request already in August but couldn't take the exam until early October. But I still got IP and PPR around the same time...

PR Card - Landed in months of April -may 2015.

Landed on May 27. I have a potential holiday coming up in early August, but it seems like the PR card processing times are too long now for me to take a chance and book my airfare. Sad face...

    PNP PR July 2014 Batch

For me it all only took a short while. I'm also from a visa-exempt country so I didn't get a passport request, but I did receive a request to send copies of my passport as well as two photos. They received my docs in Ottawa on Thursday last week, and I already landed yesterday. So have your...

I got until mid-October, which is incidentally the same expiry date as my medical results. I think they may have accidentally typed in the same date for both, because I've thought you normally just get 1-2 months from the issue date to do the landing. In my case it didn't matter because I knew I...

Thanks! :D You'll be done very soon too! She didn't ask me for any documents, and I only had the COPR and my passport with me. All she did was ask if i have dependents, whether i've been charged/convicted of a crime before, and what my address is for sending the PR card. Super easy. I was SO...

I'm also super happy to tell you guys that I did my landing this afternoon at Peace Arch in BC! Everything went well and fairly quickly, apart from just waiting in the car to get through the lineups. The CBSA officer who helped me was so friendly and nice and seemed genuinely excited for me...
