I guess you are not the only one who was asked for RCMP clearance... pNick was also asked for it: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/got-rcmp-request-today-april-2014-applicant-t213605.0.html
and I received my AOR at the same date as you guys and now I'm wondering if...
Original WP is not required, although is advisable to include a copy of it in your Explanation Letter.
Please read the previous threads on this matter before asking any questions.. it will help you a lot...
here is a link to it, again...
NO LMO needed for BOWP
Please use this thread for reference: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/tips-for-a-successful-bowp-application-t147650.0.html
i took a selfie with my cell and send it for BOWP and it got approved :). I used the same picture (selfie) for my last 2 closed WP with no problems so it's not a big deal...
Good Luck!
I applied for mine on May 10th (which was a Saturday, by the way...) and got the positive answer on May 21. So, 11 calendar days. Hard copy received on May 26th.
Good luck to everyone!
mine was approved on May 21st and i got the hard copy on May 26th in Calgary, Alberta

So any kind of proof should suffice as they already know that you...

I agree with that. You better apply online for TRV since you already have your BOWP. You should have a valid visa before leaving Canada if you plan to return after your current visa expire. It takes less time here then anywhere else, though...
That's why I scheduled my vacation in June :D. I'll be gone for 3 weeks to spend some time with my family back home.
Good luck to all that not received their AOR yet!
looking nice, ehh :)? it seems like September was the most prolific month for PR's. i wish our spreadsheet statistics to look like that sooner then theirs ;)
one can only hope for better...
instead of messing with the existing table you can create another tab just for BOWP purposes (ie look at this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AsFmKvHOgoF5dHE5YWtMUzFZckhzZHE1bmF0NDVmMEE#gid=0 )
what do you say?
