I applied before the app changed in December 2016 but I think you are still supposed to provide your most recent year tax return notice of assessment. If you haven't done your taxes due to not having an income, you should probably still go and file, you can change your status then.

If you don't live together and are in different countries you just explain that in your letter, its normal. It's perfectly fine to send your fiancee (and later when she is your wife) money regardless if she is working. Keep the receipts and submit them with your application as additional proof...

But if both your names are on the account can they not address with both your names and send the one statement to you that address? Again, if you have something delivered to her at that address, maybe you can use that proof of personal mail to have her properly added to the address on the account..?

Ok I know I'm stretching here.... You or she can order something online and have it delivered to her at that address requiring a signature and show proof of that. If its a gift from you, you can submit the receipt since it also doubles as proof of genuine relationship being a gift and all :)...
