Buddy, I am 101% sure on this. Already checked - My parents never got this done. Let me know where are you from. I will certainly try and assist with the documents to get this done. Initially I was under the same impression that this cannot be done but I got this done for myself, my wife and my son.

Not just 80's - kids born in 2013 also get their birth certificates without a name on it (unless you provide a name as soon as kid is born). One can always get a name added to birth certificate anytime. I was born in 1980 and got my name added this year. My son is 2013 born and I got his name...

1.We received your application for permanent residence on May 7, 2014. This is my ECAS status - Does it mean I will receive PER or still not sure?

Thanks Buddy...I am sure the time stamp is just a formality and it is clear that appln are not being processed on FIFO basis. I noticed that application received at 2 PM were processed before mine. All the best and share the news.

Question : My CC was charged on July 3rd. I am yet to apply for PCC. Will I have enough time to apply for PCC after I receive PER or should I just go ahead and do it? Any guesses / experiences / suggestions ? ::)

CC charged on 3rd July. 7th May Applicant NOC 1212. When to expect PER?

I think PER. My CC was charged but PER is still awaited...yesterday's updation in numbers didn't effect my NOC so I consider it is updated as per PER.

I have applied under NOC 1212, application received on May 7th. No news yet - neither the CC is charged nor PER received...what to do? I can see some of the applicants have already received PER and their application was also received on May 7th. ::)
