Hello folks, the processing time for outland applications is back to 18 months which includes the 62 days long process of sponsor approval. I am guessing CIC just made a mistake stating it to be 26 months yesterday. I can honestly say, I have never been happier with a corrected typo! lol

I was in the same dilemma as you and I decided not to change any name or add any names on the passport. Instead, I am sending in the application and then change the names on the passport and send CIC the updates version later on. One of our family friends have done this and it works just fine...
