    IELTS expires in 1 month

It is unclear whether you are simply posting your profile on EE (in which case you must retake your IELTS, the sooner the better) or if you have an ITA and are ready to send your permanent residence application in, in which case you do not need to retake the test. You can post your profile...

Got my ITA- Lets share information for further actions

The document checklist appears AFTER you have filled in all the questions. If you have technical problems, try a different browser. I have a Mac, and the questionnaire hates Safari. I switched to Chrome and it's better. If you have a PC, people say it's best on IE. I didn't know anyone used IE...

OWP and PGWP FSW applicants - I called CIC about proof of funds.

For what it's worth, I called CIC this morning about the proof of funds requirement. My question: I am currently in Canada, working on an open work permit. I do not have an LMIA, but I got an invitation to apply under FSW. Will my current salary, supported by T4 and NOA, be enough to meet my...

    Bitcoins as proof of funds?

I agree that CIC will not accept bitcoins, and that it was a great question to ask! I only wish you could call CIC to ask, and let us know their answer!

Have the requirements for residency changed?

I think your problem is in understanding my wording. You don't need an LMIA to apply. If you have one, you will get 600 more points, but you don't need it. Obviously, everyone with points in the 300s-500s doesn't have an LMIA, and yet everyone with more than 453 points has been invited to apply...

Decline ITA under FSW because I don't have $11,900?? - Please Help

I think you guys are crazy to decline without even trying to explain your circumstances to CIC. If you didn't SAY you had $11,900 there is no misrepresentation. If, on the other hand, you don't have what you said you did.... Just try to call someone and explain that you have a job in Canada...

Sent CIC email about CEC proof of funds.

How did you email CIC? Where did you find the link?

I cant complete my PR application, because I cant go pass the personal activitie

Hit the completeness button and see what it tells you - it points to mistakes, but often very cryptically! I discovered that I couldn't move past this section because I had not filled in the first 4 months when I moved to Canada in 2012 and was looking for a job. It would not accept that page...

Decline FSW ITA for CEC invitation??

You need one year of work in your NOC classification to qualify for FSW under EE. You also need 67 points in the FSW class to qualify for that particular invitation. On the CIC website, it tells you what you can get points for, to get those 67 qualifying points. Some of the things are your...

Documents required FSW - Living in Canada

You need the medical. There are directions on the website for getting police reports, which you need for each country you lived in for more than 6 continuous months since you were 18 (except Canada). How you get that may be up to you - and if they will release it to your mother, that might be...

CEC vs FSWP under express entry

I am curious about whether and how CIC will treat the fact that I have an open work permit job with a good salary in Canada. My ITA was issued under FSW, and I can show the required funds, but it seems to me they should also take into consideration that I have a regular paycheck, even though it...

    Cheapest medical test in GTA

At the one listed at 471 Broadview, we were quoted $190. I didn't ask if there was a family rate.

IELTS expired after ITA and before AOR ?????

I would provide both if possible or the most recent unexpired one. But CIC makes it clear that even if you have to retake IELTS (which I also do), if your EE score remains above the lowest score accepted in your draw, you are still good to go. Your draw went down to 453, your new score is 457...

I cant complete my PR application, because I cant go pass the personal activitie

I had horrible problems - fields not showing up (no US state choice, for example) and inability to move to the next job/trip, etc, when I used Safari on my mac. Changed to Chrome, and so far so good. They must have the WORST programmers ever!

CRS - Arranged Employment - yet no points

To be more accurate, they don't need to get an LMIA for you. If they do, or can, it will give you 600 more points and you'll be virtually assured of getting an invitation to apply. Without it, you'll have under 600 points, but if your points are high enough, you still have a chance. Right now...

I received an ITA under FSW but I am CEC! And I dont have papers required.

Look at the requirements for FSW, namely that you have 1 year or more of full-time employment in the NOC A, B, or O category in which you intend to work in Canada, and you have the minimum amount of funds available for the number of people in your family, and an English test score high enough...

Have the requirements for residency changed?

What you're not getting is that you don't need an LMIA for either Canadian Experience Class or FSW! It helps as it will give you 600 extra points and pretty much ensure getting an ITA, but you don't need it. I don't have it, and I have an ITA. So just put in your application and relax!

Does anyone know if reference letters expire?

I got some of my reference letters in late 2013, when I was planning to apply for FSW - and then I discovered I needed an LMO (now LMIA) for that category at the time. I submitted them again in late 2014, when I qualified for CEC - but my application came back as over the cap. Now I have an ITA...
