Application is approved but waiting for PPR/Landing Interview mail

I’m an inland applicant from Vancouver. I was told by the officers that Vancouver has a three months delay in conducting the landing interview. Not sure how accurate this is as I eventually got the RFV email to which I responded to and is now finished. I had received a letter from my PO that my...

Ready for visa email - a bit confused

Follow the instructions in the email. Sometimes applicant receives a letter and other times they receive a RFV email. They are both the same so if you did not receive any letter then the email (RFV) is the letter.

I would call them back and verify that they have your address on file correctly. If they do then you unfortunately have to wait but maybe you’ll see some movement soon.

I got the email today, one day after approval. This is the same timeline as with the EE application approval in that I received the email that my account was updated the next day. I guess this is a batch email for the previous day.

Regular steps is a ghost update and then approved. However, I’ve seen some people receiving their card without any update and some people receiving photo request after ghost update. Keep this in mind.

Maybe because the counterfoil was used and no longer valid to be used as it’s a one time visa. Since your PR Card was issued then that’s all you need and doesn’t require a visa anymore. However I’ll let folks with experience to answer as I didn’t require a counterfoil.
