    My feelings are based on most positive outcome of the situation driven by historical fasts and figures. In the past, I have been close enough. In my personal case, I can see some good news coming at the end of Feb or early March.

    @eb1, It is normal for background check to take a longer time if an applicant has lived in Canada. What was his status when he was in canada? You said his PR expired?

    Hi Mukal, Welcome to the club. As per CIC website, it takes 6 months from the date the file transferred to ND. So if your case is straight forward, you should get DM by March-April. If you are lucky, you might hear good news earlier.

    I think 6 months doesn't sound too long but thanks to CPC-M, their time is more than doubled too so it kinda takes 1.5 months extra for us as compared to people who applied in past.

    Hi Jatt_punjabi, If you didn't submit phone bills with application then it's a good idea to send them now and explain that in your cover letter. You can use any reliable courier service such as DHL, blue dart and make sure to attach their PPR letter.
