Those who Waiting EXPRESS ENTRY in Six Months and not finalized!!!!

I can only imagine your pain... "Only" ~11 months here and I'm getting more and more depressed every day. Some days are better and I feel like it's really close, and some days I feel like it will never happen. They call it "Stress Entry" and unfortunately now, we know why. Stay strong and...

Express entry status (longer than 6months)

Just on the first one as it was a long time ago. They started redacting SS in December 2017 I believe.

Express entry status (longer than 6months)

This is the standard response to every "what are they doing with my application" question here - you won't know unless you order GCMS notes. I email them every 2 months and get the same exact answer, even when I ask specific questions (the last time I asked if I have to redo my medicals as they...

Express entry status (longer than 6months)

Seniors can confirm, but I read that the "Review of eligibility" part stays this way until the PPR. You are in IP2 so that is normal as well. As for the final decision, it's the normal wording for an application in progress. My application details are exactly the same since August. Did you order...

Ottawa Case Processing Centre applicants - Lets connect here.

The file goes to LVO, CPC Ottawa is one of them. There have been some speculations here implying that they may be changing their wordings to avoid applicants finding out the exact step, but we don't know for sure. According to the basic system we know about background checks (NA, IP1, NA, IP2...

    The anatomy of a Background Check? - <<<<<<IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS>>>>>>>

Hello, I am in the same situation and have asked legalfalcon about the issue on this thread. "It was a mass update, I wouldn't read too much into it" was his response. Hope this helps. Fingers crossed!

Ottawa Case Processing Centre applicants - Lets connect here.

It's been less than a month since your AOR. What you received is just the acknowledgement of receipt (of the email you sent them.) Don't worry, you'll hear from them soon enough. Fyi, Ottava = CPC (Case Processing Centre.)

We use getgcms.com - ordered 4 sets so far. They are fast and reliable. Be careful when you give your info to strangers.

    The anatomy of a Background Check? - <<<<<<IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS>>>>>>>

Dear @legalfalcon , I'll try to make it short: Info: Passed 9.5 months since AOR. Under SS for ~7 months. Just received third set of GCMS and absolutely no change since the last time... 4+ months without a single movement. Feb 2018 - "update" on MyCIC account: Additional documents went from...

TEF Test Is Easy or Difficult ????

As a francophone, I found TEF relatively easy, however I had time management issues, especially for the Writing part (I almost ran out of time at the end.) Unlike IELTS, we had no breaks between each part with the exception of "Speaking", which took place in the morning. I had downloaded an app...

    Thank you >>>>>>>>> Legalfalcon <<<<<<<<<<<

Hello @legalfalcon and thank you for all your help here. In Security Screening for the past 6 months, I just ordered my third set of GCMS notes but looking at the old ones, I noticed that between set #1 (September) and #2 (November) there has been no change in SS activities (my spouse is the one...

    Reasons for Rejection

Hello, I really need input for my employment letter: - Would a regular letter from the head of a closed company on plain paper be enough? It has all the info and he also gave me his business card, but it is not notarized. Also, no other document to support my case other than a newspaper...

    See submitted application post-AOR

I can't remember if I put all the information in my husband's Personal History section or not (I probably did, but want to be sure) and can't access my submitted forms, just the EE profile. Is there any way to see the submitted information once we receive AOR? Thank you.

Any Question on Express Entry---i will try to answer

Seniors, please help. My previous employer (my main job I based my application on) just informed me that they cannot give a Letter of Employment as required by CIC, only their standard format - i.e. everything except list of duties. Now that the head bosses said no to my request, my colleagues...

    Letter of Explanation

I am not sure but I believe you can always ask for reasons why it got rejected and if possible, appeal if that happens. I've been told many, many times here: "no one ever got rejected for providing too many documents" (apparently - I have 5 LOEs myself.)

Is it supposed to be this stressful?

Thank you, I think I will add a few LOEs anyway, if they think it's weird, they can ask me - and if LOEs are unnecessary, they can just throw them away?! ;D It always feels like the current stage of the application is the hardest and it's not over until it's over... Good luck to you as well...

Is it supposed to be this stressful?

Hi everyone, I have been reading every single post about every single thing to do for hours, for days now... I only got my ITA 4 days ago but already feel like I've been working on this application for months. I constantly think about the remaining documents I have to send, read horror stories...

58th Draw ITA Recipients - Update Here

Did you try "check for completeness" at the top? We had the same problem with my spouse's info, we realized we forgot the little drop down menu at the bottom (asking if that is all) and completeness check highlighted it in red.

    Experience Letter

Are you claiming points for both roles / entire period of employment? I would ask for a second letter, or for a new, edited letter stating both roles. Remember, it does not count unless you have proof ;) I'm sure others can confirm, but I believe if you can't have those, you can always ask a...
