Why did you raise CSE? It looks like the standard response to me.

    June AOR 2017

@me.usman I noticed you asked on other AOR 2017 threads as well. When's your AOR?

    Thank you >>>>>>>>> Legalfalcon <<<<<<<<<<<

All the cells are locked, you can't edit your info. I would like to have control over the information I provide. Is there a special reason you are locking the information once it's entered? It doesn't seem likely that people who are in SS will delete other people's info or edit it, so I was...

    June AOR 2017

I was going to post the same thing yesterday but I got scared I'd be the only one here :p 9 months in SS and almost a year since AOR now. I am planning to celebrate with a huge cake.

TEF Test Is Easy or Difficult ????

Speaking had two parts: (1) They gave us a made-up ad from a newspaper, asked us to "call them" and ask for more information; pretend we would need their services (I believe it was a financial organization) so you have to imagine the situation, the context and ask your questions. (2) This part...

Congratulations @Maggiechen and @Lupus !!! So many 6+ month applications have been processed recently, it gives us hope!

    Thank you >>>>>>>>> Legalfalcon <<<<<<<<<<<

If you move after AOR / before PPR, you let CIC know as soon as you know your new address in the destination country. This is important, you will see the instructions on the CIC website. Assuming you receive AOR before you move; your PoF shows your financial state at the time of the AOR...

You can look it up, the internet has a lot of info on both. Wikipedia says: Legal separation (sometimes judicial separation, separate maintenance, divorce a mensa et thoro, or divorce from bed-and-board) is a legal process by which a married couple may formalize a de facto separation while...

    <<<<<FSW Outland - June & July 2017 AOR - Lets Connect Here>>>>>

Only GCMS notes can tell what is exactly going on with your file, but it looks like things are moving - slowly, but they are. 2 months or more in BCG without being in SS is not unheard of. I would order notes to find out. Good luck!

    BG Stuck in IP1

I'm pretty sure it doesn't change anything at all. My friends who had lower CRS points received their PPR within weeks, while a few of us with 470+ points are selected for SS (my CRS would have been around 490-500 with the new system and I've been waiting for almost a year now) as for the NOC...

Those who Waiting EXPRESS ENTRY in Six Months and not finalized!!!!

It is indeed a good sign. There are more people who receive their PPRs after re-medical request than those who are waiting. I say follow the light, because it looks a lot like the end of the tunnel to me :p

Can go and live in a different country while my PR is being processed

GCMS notes ;) I don't know about passports - whether the rules are different or not - however I can see the address change clearly on GCMS.

GCMS shows 'Security Screening' and waiting... - let's gather here!

There's always that risk, a little higher with military / government jobs but you won't know for sure unless you have your GCMS notes. Your case seems to be processed pretty fast and there's nothing to worry about even if you are in SS (I had no military nor government background, no significant...

Can go and live in a different country while my PR is being processed

This. It's ok as long as you let them know, beforehand if possible. We informed CIC a week before moving as we already knew our new address. Raise CSE, select address change from the drop down menu (we added our new phone numbers as well) and they do it immediately. Voila!

Those who Waiting EXPRESS ENTRY in Six Months and not finalized!!!!

I agree with the "so close" part... Some days I wake up and grab my phone - it feels like the day I'm receiving the golden email (and I'm not even talking about ppr dreams!) nearly 8 months in SS and 11 months since AOR, I spent the whole week checking immitracker for hours. I'm avoiding friends...

    The anatomy of a Background Check? - <<<<<<IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS>>>>>>>

Honestly, I'm not sure. If I remember correctly, I had read posts where people ordered CBSA notes, the results came back as "no record of ongoing investigation" (can't remember the exact wording) and as they had not ordered CSIS notes, they didn't know if their SS at CBSA level had not started...

    The anatomy of a Background Check? - <<<<<<IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS>>>>>>>

Legalfalcon and seniors can confirm this, but as far as I know, it's CSIS first, then CBSA - and from what I read on this forum, CBSA may take longer. The only way to know what is exactly going on is to wait, then order CSIS notes again and after it says completed, order CBSA notes. I don't...
