Got my email AOR on Nov 6. Ecas was activated this weekend too but it says "received" only. It says a letter was sent by mail and to wait for delivery in case of delays in mail system. It's been a month but I haven't gotten anything yet. So I guess that's it for now.

Congratulations!! So I guess by my calculations, I received my AOR 15 days after you, so maybe I will get my test invite 15 days from now. And a test date, 15 days after yours... Never know with CIC though..

I completely agree with this as well. Even during my PR days, some folks had applied around my time, but I got everything via email. They got got everything by regular mail. I was chosen for the pilot program in Ottawa, and was applicant # 4 in line for that pilot program. PR was done in 3 months.

Nah, not unfair. Who knows, maybe we'll be at an advantage - and all of a sudden see a test date next :)

Good news everyone. Finally received my AOR! The message is just like what Rossei got above.

Lol, I think at this point I'm convinced that those from the first two weeks of August are still on the old system before they allowed CIC agents to process files fully - i.e. the ruling that went into effect on August 1. OR We all got lost in some black hole. :P

Spoke to CIC agent, very helpful this time around. He gave me the same thing that, applications until July 25 are only being processed now. He said to call back in 3rd week of November and check again. There is no record of my application in the system yet. One thing he did say though was that...

I made ATIP request on Oct 15. At first when I saw email from CIC, I was really excited. That grew to disappointment when I opened the email lol.

I had sent in a request for ATIP request for my app. Got an email back which is dated Oct 28, 2014 and it says "There is no record of your application available at this time", along with some longer other info etc. Will give it until mid-Nov now I guess, to see what happens.

Well I'm glad there are others as well with me :)

Same here man. Reached August 8. And nothing so far.

Congrats man. Here I am from early August still waiting to hear something. Nothing's been returned so I think that should be a positive thing. Keep checking my eCas but nothing there either. There was a problem back in my PR days as well. My country of citizenship is different than my country...

Well, looks like people from August 20 are getting notices, but me from August 8 or 11 have not received anything yet. Called up CIC and they said that they're opening applications from July 22 so far.

Congrats. Mine arrived on the 8th (friday) or 11th (monday). Still no word yet.

Anybody get any notifications?
