I was able to link mine right away, but as far as I know, sometimes it takes a little more time for them to put your OWP in the system. So just wait a week or two and try again. Also, it might help using different combinations there while linking your application.

Don't stress out. They accepted it, so it should be fine. I'm on the same boat here - I applied on March 13th, and we also used NOA 2015. If they need the 2016 one, I'm sure they will request it.

You don't have to. People do it to be on a safe side. In my case, I found mailing it more helpful than sending via IRCC web form, because the next day mailing room received my Schedule A, the status changed to: We are processing your background check.

Nope. Same here, applied in March, received OWP, background check is in process and that's about it.

As to the 1st one, you can leave it blank, as open work permit does not require you to stay with the same employer. As to Intended work in Canada you can specify your occupation and the city and province of your intended work (but it's not mandatory).

The same problem many of us are experiencing here. There is a glitch in their system. So what you can do - is call IRCC and ask them which documents have been requested (most likely Police certificates and Schedule A), they will advise you to submit them via their web-form.

Hey guys, I just got my OWP approval yesterday ( so it took a little less than 2 months...yay). I still can't see any messages on Mycic, but I can see updates, which is good too. Does anybody know what a "first stage approval" is? Is that SA? I need it to get my TRV. Thank you ;)
