Yes its all depending on VO. Each country has different way to do it and I know many got their meds request before application forward to VO like yours but its been always same for Sri Lankans that applications get forwarded first then med request. 17th of Friday. Since our files are forwarded to Visa Offices its up to them to decide when to pick it up. Check with your VO and email them

They needed an explanation letter to know why there was delay applying for sponsorship after we got married and asked us to pay for Right of Permanent Residence fee which I paid long ago.

Received additional document request on July 17th. She got med request on 16th.

Did you get any updates? they are open now and my wife got her medical request and additional document request.

yes. its been picked up. You will hear from them soon. Mine also changed to in process and my wife got her medical request and additional document request.

I asked them if they were still remain emergency services only. They said yes and they can not provide a specific date when their immigration section will be open. I have been keep sending email to them last 3 months but I got same answer every time.

I emailed them but they said Immigration section in embassy is closed. They provide essential services only for Canadians.. They don't know when they will resume other services.

it says application received. we received the email saying file is tranferred to colombo but still has not received AOR2. With this current sitution they would take months to send that out
