I may be wrong but I believe PCC's are valid for a duration of 6 months, post which you need to submit new PCC's. would be advisable to get one only if requested though. Where are you from?

Hey congrats!! Now keep a watch on your email for the PER mail what will be sent. I wouldn't call this the 50% completion mark..more like a 25%...you still need to clear eligibility with the local visa office and then ofcourse your medicals. Good luck!

If you ask me, at this stage I would recommend not making any changes to your passport. Updating your passport will mean a new passport and you would then need to update the information with the VO could lead to delays in the PPR. Hold off is my recommendation.

Now you wait until your CC is charged or DD encashed depending on your mode of payment....once that happens you wait to see if you get your PER....first few steps :)

Not a "bro" lol And yeah i know about the time difference. When I updated I was talking about the status that was updated at 4:30am (US Time) that the package was going to be held at the NB Warehouse and is thus delayed. Christmas is really not making me happy this year :( :(

Hi Zainab You can get a 6 month validity DD from ICICI bank. The DD should be made payable to "The Receiver General for Canada", this should be payable in Canada

If you are planning on sending your documents only on the 26th or 27th...you are taking a risk. You have to get your documents in before Jan 1st for it to be processed under current FSWP. I would recommend waiting and applying under EE.
