Is there a time gap as to how long ago you applied for a visa that was declined? A friend of mine sent his papers and he was declined a visitor's visa to the US back in 2007-08. He had completely forgotten about it and is now concerned because he marked no on the form. What should he be doing?

You could have ordered a 2nd copy of your IELTS scores..no? Anyways...I'm not entirely sure whether a photocopy would be accepted. Keep your fingers crossed. Good Luck man

As far as I know...you only need an FBI PCC if you spent 6 or more months in the US or any PCC for that matter only if duration of stay in that country is for 6 mths or more. Were you specifically requested to provide PCC for the US?

Quick question, are you planning on sending your documents on Dec 23rd? and where are you from? Try and see if you can get your application out as early as possible as its a grey area as to whether applications would be received by CIC once Christmas vacations start.

Hey ..I'm not certain on how long it takes but you just need to apply for it from your local passport seva kendra. On the passport office website they have an option of apply for PCC. Hope that helps

I agree with desertfox, a copy of your original Birth Certificate along with a notarized translation would do the trick. To be safe notarize the copy of your original Birth Certificate as well.

Yes you application will be rejected without the bar code. Your name needs to be entered on the form just as it is on your passport. My husband has a similar case where his passport has only Given Name and no Last Name/Family Name/Surname. We filled in his given name against family name and left...

I am no expert, but if I go by what my consultant asked from my husband and me....you need to submit all mark cards..10th, 12th and all 3 yrs of graduation and any post grad certs you may have. I can't say for sure whether this would lead to rejection...I surely hope not....good luck mate.

Actually you cannot. They used to allow it earlier but stopped. As of now you can show either a bank balance (with no sudden large deposits made recently) and/or fixed deposit certificates.

I could be wrong but I don't believe that to be true!! My husband submitted his 3 yrs bachelor's and 2 yrs of master's and got a report as it being equivalent to Canadian Master's. Although I do believe that they have a list of universities in India that are recognized. If your master's is done...

Your guess is as good as mine. I would assume a safe bet would be to have it all in by the 23rd. Although I would like to add that I am not an expert on the matter, my documents are in transit as we speak. UPS claims the delivery will happen on Monday even though it has already reach Montreal...
