Not sure a professional immigration consultant can do much to be honest. Did they request the biometrics or you proceeded with it on your own? As I recollect, the biometrics are usually done at the same time you submit your passport.

Wow! that's fast!! :) I sent my application in December 2016. Request of additional info October 2018. Waiting for some reply now... Looks like applications are getting processed faster now. You should hear back from them before the end of the year based on my observations.
