I heard in some cases like us that it has been delay sending file to local office , they might invite you for the test not more than 2 or 3 months . But I am not sure .

nothing happens . usually people want to know were their local office is so they can follow their case.

If you want to know where your local office is you can call cic. Their respond is more accurate.

how do you know we are in the third group? based on country?I was hoping that we may be in the second group.
