September 2013 Citizenship Application

I'm pretty sure the local office does it.

I have a question. does local office always give test date or Sydney can do that too?I mean does always the test letter come after transferring the file?

Agree, they are buying time!

my 2 cents

CIC has limited resources....so they process a few applications fast ...and the rest just take time ;D......most of the RQ's and fingerprint are sent to just delay the process....to make sure people just keep busy sending RQ's back and stay calm :'(......which applications are processed fast may have something to do with country of origins etc.....
But basically they are buying time to process applications :-* ...... this is just my view

It has been almost 6 months since my file is started to process and my file is still in Sydney. i am not mad, I am desperate. I wish they told me the reason. they just keep telling every thing is ok and I should wait.

Did your 'received' line disappear or still there?

ask your mp's office to look into it for you. they can get detailed notes made to your file.

I already ordered it. all back ground checks are done in January and no sign of RQ or fingerprint or any other requirements.

Hey all !

Finally got some good news today,
My letter of notice to write my citizenship exam came today Needless to say I was beyond happy.
My exam is scheduled for 16 June 2014 at Scarborough. The letter was dated 26 May 2014.

Its been such a long journey and with a lot of patience, its slowly becoming over. To all those still waiting, do hang in there, it will come soon !
