I think they are open most of the time. There are post in the forum that some were not allowed to land on that time. I can't remember where I saw it. But most of the ones I've read landed early in the morning until late in the night had no problems.

How long did you wait to get an appointment? Yes sometimes your really have to wait. You either see a lot of people in line or just because of the officer. I also waited quite sometime before being called but not 2 hours. But going to the border is still faster, in a sense that you can do it...
