Me, im dec applicant and the BC hasnt changed yet still not needed this time even on my gcms notes says not started too. I know this is so frustatring. I think the officer whos handlind our papers might be the same darn it.

Did your background check changed to in process before? So unfair some dec applicant got their ppr already. I am dec applicant my bc still not needed this time

You can request as many as you want but i dont think you will see anydifference if every now and then you keep on requesting. I always order gcms notes once a month

I requested gcms notes last january 15 received it last feb 4. I did not attached any documents but was able to submit my request. Try the atip website itself or make sure your requested for privacy act not the other one.

Same thing here Dec 10 applicant, my background check still not needed this time. Received gcms notes 2 days ago still background check not needed this time. So frustrating, but on my gcms notes my due date is on march 9, so dont know if I will received good news on that day

Have you send it already? If not just buy a new one and follow what the cic instructed to make sure

Wow i am so envious of you. We have almost same timeline including medical request and yet my background status still not started. By any chance are a single applicant or married?

I requested gcms notes and received it jan 2 then nothing new. Background check still not started. So i just recently ordered a new gcms notes

I understand your frustration same here but there is nothing we can do to have more patience.

My file location is PS. Hoping they can changed the background status now. And we can get our ppr next month

I think so too. Hopefully it wont take that long . But on my gcms notes the due dates for elegibility and security is march 9, 2017 so i think that will be the latest if ever they will make the decision for my PR
