    Question schedule A declaration

All time must be accounted for Personal History section, not education. In personal history if you lived at home with parents/unemployed just put "Unemployed/Lived with Parents/Supported by Parents" - I went back 10 years on my personal history (before age 18, I'm 28 now) and I explained during...

JANUARY 2017 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Your sponsor should get an e-mail (mine got both at the same time) that says your PR application has been transferred to a visa office.

    Notarized letter from parents

We had my wife's parents and sister and my two parents attend our wedding. We included pictures, and a notarized letter from my parents. We didn't include letters from everyone. More can't hurt! Best of luck.

Supporting documents - proof of sponsor's visits

Just show any proof you have, explain on a separate sheet of paper in detail what you said here as well.

    US outland applicants' thread :)

I may be incorrect but I believe a forum member said for US applicants they suggest to use a courier, FedEx/UPS/etc.

JANUARY 2017 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

We are not living together so we weren't able to provide any joint bills/finances. We included 20 pictures, facebook messages, proof of my wife as my beneficiary on my stocks+bonds/retirement account, and a notarized letter from my parents confirming our relationship. My application still says...

JANUARY 2017 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Yeah this sounds like SA if it shows DM. Your sponsor should get the e-mail confirmations (at least mine did). Congrats! Now you wait... :) Are you using the application number? I can look mine up just fine with my sponsor or PA last name/DOB and application number in ECAS...I think the UCI...

JANUARY 2017 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

MyCIC will have what you need to upload and submit. I suggest obtaining all information they requested and submitting it to them. Best wishes

    Spousal sponsorship

Awesome! Easy enough. Have you landed yet or did you say you're still waiting for your COPR? I'm gonna have some question regarding how landing goes, hah. Will you landing at the Peace Arch in WA or a different area/state?

    Time after interview

It's not even been 4 weeks. Why don't you wait the 4-6 weeks as suggested then contact the CIC?

**DECEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

Haha. Yeah just forget the marriage and life with your spouse ya know, who care's about vetting people. Honestly, the old process used to take a lot longer. I wouldn't give up just yet. If you are a Dec 23rd applicant I would file a request to see the status of your application. Give the CIC a...

    Spousal sponsorship

We wrote on the back of each photograph with the details of what's pictured (situation, date, event, etc). Who was attending (we didn't really put anyone's names we just explained who they were). My spouse and I both wrote our names and DOB on each photo. GL!

    Got interview, need help

Can't say about other countries but in the US you can go down to a city clerks office and get a marriage certificate printed out same day from a Kisosk if you're in the system...I suspect if you have a interview you're probably also not from the US. Best of luck. There are some interview...

JANUARY 2017 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

You should get the e-mail to the sponsor e-mail letting you know the sponsors been approved, then another e-mail after saying your PR application has been transferred to the visa office (and it'll say which one). I think that's the extent of AOR2, at least it was for me.
  15. barch88

    Spousal sponsorship

Yeah I'm assuming pretty routine. Wife and I both have never been married, neither of us have kids, no questionable history. She was approved as a sponsor within a week of AOR1 so that was nice. No movement on MyCIC or ECAS since. So they send you a PPR e-mail with a form you print out and you...

    please help

No problem. Make sure you upload it on the MyCIC website though!

    Spousal sponsorship

Awesome thank you! So after I notice my background check go to "In Process" expect to be able to move within a month(ish) ...maybe about 2 months. For Americans we just send a photocopy of our passport page (same as we sent originally in the packet) and 2 Canadian PR photos (same as we sent with...

    please help

This is normal with the new forms. As soon as I linked my account in early/mid January they requested I upload a 5669 form (even though I included it in my application packet). I uploaded the document and now the MyCIC website says "Provided" and "Review in Progress" - the ECAS still shows the...

    Do I need a SIN # ASAP?

Do you visit your spouse in Canada? Why don't you just go get one. I'm in WA state and I commute ~2-3 times a week to see my wife while waiting for my PR so for me this wouldn't be a big deal. I don't know your circumstances.

    Spousal sponsorship

Awesome! Well I'd imagine they would have requested it with the 5669 if the process is only ~4-6 months because the FBI thing takes 2 months on it's own. Thank you, I keep checking daily. Did you see your background check status change on MY CIC or ECAS? Or did it just go from SA to DM?
