Unfortunately their is no time limit for varification cases and i am one of them. Landed on 20th March but no PR CARDS yet. Would suggest you to keep chasing CIC.

I had given mailing address at the time of landing and it was noted by the immigration officer on the original copy of landing record by himself. In addition to that, on following up with CIC , they confirm to have our mailing address. Do I still have to update address online ?.

Re " i think they are delaying for those who left early " , it's difficult to say anything. If it was true then they would have issued PR cards for my son who didn't leave with us and staying in Canada.

Good, that's great, atleast now you will be receiving PR cards. You can later apply for correction. Any indication what correction is required ?.

Any progress on your PR cards ?. Hope verification process is over and,you have positive feedback from CIC. Our PR cards not received yet.

Seems the additional window for PR cards appear only when they start working on your file. In my case despite the fact that 128 have passed since our landing but no PR Cards received yet nor additional window for PR cards.

Have you checked with CIC, what do they say about delay in issuing PR cards.

My case is probably worst than yours. We landed on 20th March, 2014 but no PR cards yet as CIC say files are under verification. I have checked with lawyer and according to him nothing can be done to speed up the process. We are totally at their mercy. Did you receive yours.

Hi Eva, What i understand when reading thousands if postings about PR is that once you become a landed immigrant your status can't be revoked unless you commit serious crime. So i believe you need not to worry. Not sure what is bio data form, pls explain.

Agree, i might be wrong in estimating the number of people who leave Canada before receiving PR card but CIC do know this fact and therefore there should be a provision for such immigrants that they can provide photographs through their representative instead of rushing back to Canada only for...
