    Jitesh, I sent an email to CPC- Ottawa that Indian passports cannot be posted outside the country of residence and requested for PR visa printing in the US( Los Angeles)

    Sorry for the late reply. I could not access the forum for the last day and half as it was saying server not responding. I did what I felt was the right thing to do not because whether the Indian Govt will find out or not. I am not trying to be rude here.

    I called Ministry of External Affairs and they said I SHOULD NOT POST TO CANADA. I could have ignored their advice and went ahead and posted my PP to Canada but I don't want stress with stupid Indian officials when I visit India. That is my choice only. Please see Indian Govt passport website...

    Jaxon911, I saw in this thread itself people interpreting that since US,Canada belong to NorthAmerican continent--this rule does not apply. I felt they were wrong but I did not explore the Indian passport rules and regulations until I got PPR/RFV yesterday. There is no point in messing around...

    I sent the FBI pcc, UKpcc, Indian pcc along with the medicals on December 9th,2014. My medicals were uploaded by the Physician's office on Dec 17 but I could finally see 'medicals received' on ECAS only on Feb 13, 2015--- :-[
