I have raised a web-form explaining that my country has just closed border. The President said the Emergency state might likely be extended beyond the mentioned date (15th of April), so there are no chances for me to enter Canada on time. Let's see what they answer.

I am not sure what to do either. I was going to make soft landing, but have just read on the regulations that IRCC don't allow third parties to get my PR card. (I was going to ask a friend to recieve it and mail it to me afterwards)

How are you planning to return without the PR card? By private transport?

How do people come back to Canada after soft landing without their PR card in hands? I heard of ports of entry by car through USA, but you are supposed to have approriate visa to USA, right? I dont have that visa. Can IRCC mail the PR card to me to my country, or they only do that within Canada?

They are considering "tightening" border (or closing completely?). My COPR expires on the 21st of April, Lufthansa canceled my flight. I had to buy another ticket through Turkey, now my country is reducing flights to Turkey....damn!

Thank you. I have just look the guidelines. If I understood correctly, they refer to Chinese COPR holders, because VOs were closed. Hopefully, they will be able to do that for other applicants in case the situation worsens.
