Hi, I will be changing my nationality soon from Indian to Portuguese. Can I travel on my existing PR card with new Passport or would that be a problem? I intend to make a business trip to the US and return. Would flying be a problem?

Hi @ch671 What was the validity of the PRTD? Is it multiple use? Did it take 7 business days to get the document?

Hi @maissom Can you please share the number you called and how you spoke to a real person? I had a trip planned and I'm trying to figure out how I could still make it.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttttt a minute! so we don't need a PRTD if we drive up to the border? the stamped CoPR is sufficient? I had an upcoming business trip to LA which I thought I couldn't do now because they need new photos for my PR card. But what you say seems like a doable...

PRTD processing times vary.... when I called to find out about it at the LA office, was told it could take up to 1 month to issue!

Hi @Emily89 Sorry to hear about you having to cancel your trip. I got an email for photos today as well, unfortunately this means we are in the same boat. I didn't write my details on the back of my photos, but it could be because my photos were about 2 months over the 6 month specification...

Hi everyone, I landed on 14th March at YVR and managed to link my application to my account a couple of weeks ago(it kept failing before that). I'm expecting to see an "Approved" status soon based on feedback on this thread. Does anyone know what time they update statuses on the accounts?
