Agreed! I just got mine today and it goes back to almost a decade when my initial license was issued.

I understand that if I have a PR card. But, my card is still under process and I would like to move before my card is issued. I was told by the CBSA officer during my initial landing that I don't need a PR card for moving, if I'm crossing the border by land. But, I'm not sure about the funds part.

I was neither asked too for my initial landing. My question is more about when I move permanently.

Remember you are not moving from one state to another state within US. You are going to a different country and it would be fair for them to ask some additional documents to issue a license. The good thing is, you don't have to start from the scratch. :)

OK. As long as the card is not needed for Bank Accounts. Driver's License, Insurance, etc. I am okay waiting for the card for a month.

Hi @JayashreeGowda ! Did you ever find out this? My understanding is you don't even need a letter as long as you are able to provide last 3-6 months of banks statements with sufficient funds. I am guessing your question is regarding the permanent move and not for initial application process...

Oh! So, I might not expect my card until after first week of September? Is the card needed for applying DL, Bank accounts, Insurance etc.?

Is your PG a diploma? If so, it doesn't count. But, there is no harm in sending it. I got all my transcripts at various levels sent to evaluation just to be on safer side. Good luck!

I would suggest taking Type AR. I got a similar one for me from a different state. Good luck!

Thanks @lampbreaker ! I did check on BBB and couldn't find any info about this particular corporation. They did ask me to fill td1-19e form which asks for my SIN in that. That's why little concerned about accepting that offer.
