We submitted our app Mar 21 and my fiance's background check only started Oct 19 so we're still waiting for DM as well.

We did that for a while too but he is often not with me because of working hours so eventually I sent in a use of a representative form so now I'm the sponsor AND representative.

If an additional document is required at IP2 stage how does this affect the timeline to PPR?

Our flow is a little different. Bkgnd check went in process last Thursday and then we received the Mississauga email the day after. No idea how long to DM now

Interesting... My fiance is in Vancouver with me and he commutes to work in Washington state as well! Our bground check just went in process after almost 7 months of not hearing anything.

I'm curious, have you been transferred to a VO or background check started? Our file was received Mar 21 so close to yours. We haven't had anything since SA on Apr 12 and we are US Outland

It seems like the majority of persons stuck in Mississauga are US applicants. Other countries that would normally have gone to Ottawa are probably included in this mess as well. They should at least explain what is happening rather than keeping us in the dark.

Same boat... - US applicant - Application rec'd Mar 21 - AOR1 Mar 30 - SA Apr 12 - PCC and Medicals upfront - Schedule A uploaded Apr 14 and attached Apr 25 - no news since. Called many times and they say they have everything they need and my file just hadn't been transferred yet. BC not...

It's like they decided to temporarily stop processing a batch of random applications so that they can work through another set and get them out of the way first. There are so many of us stuck in Mississauga! I myself have not heard anything for exactly 2 months now since schedule A was attached...

At least you've been transferred. It's been 5 weeks since schedule A was attached and our file is still in Mississauga and not in Process yet. Hopefully the agent got it wrong or something changes and you don't have to do an interview. Good luck

I don't know. Mississauga has had my complete file since Apr 25 and it hasn't been transferred and background check hasn't started either so not sure what they are doing there. Whenever I call I get the same response..."everything is in order, everything is on file, nothing else is required from...
