Guys... For those who already received their COnfirmation of permanent residence and landed in canada, does it show the place of birth in your COPR? My husband's copr place of birth is empty/blank but it showed the country of birth tho. Would that affect his entry to canada? I appreciate it if...

Like for what documents? If marriage cert and adv of marriages..ok lng un. Not sure if dpt lahat ng docs dpt mag match tho.. Wait natin reply ng iba.. Sorry d ako confident sa answer ko..hehe

It is not necessary to change it. It really is up to us,if gusto mo palitan ung last name mo. I didnt change my last name to my hubby's last name.

Yan din naisip ko. Na worried lang kasi kami kasi pinagsabihan xa sa tga pdos to check with manila immi. Tapos nagcheck din ako ng ibang thread about it, sabi nila ung officer at port of entry will add or correct the info. Ng email na ako sa manila immi. Lets see how it goes. Sana d nila ipabalik

Im not sure tho. Bec my COPR, which i still have it, it showed my place of birth. Im planning to send email to mvo. My hubby is attending pdos today and was advised to reach out to mvo bec it might cause an issue at the airport. Im not sure why they told him that. It says in COPR na not valid...

Sa COPR nya ah.. Nkasulat din bah ang Place of birth? Ngayon lang npansin ng hubby ko..walang nkasulat sa knya sa place of birth. Empty space lang sa country of birth nkasulat ay phils.

For those already received their visa or landed in canada, nkasulat bah sa visa nyo yung middle name or yung middle initial nyo? Bec visa ng hubby ko only shows last name and given name(first name). Wala yung middle name like sa passport. Ok lang bh yun? Hindi bh mgka problema upon arrival at...

Yep. Normal lng lalo na pag sinend ung addtl docs thru email. No need to worry about it. :) ung hubby ko na rcv na yung visa nya but cic acct still shows "upload file" for addtl docs. As long as u received an email from manila vsa ofc acknowleding they received ur doc, you will be fine :)

There u go. Andun na ung passport mo once u arrive on thursday :) 2pm to 3pm lang for releasing of passport. :) be there before 2pm kasi mg line up ka pa dun pero mbilis lng daw sabi ng hubby ko. congratz!!!
