You aren't the only one who made that mistake. You can go a few pages back and see the whole discussion about it and what happened to people. I am guessing if you paid the total amount for the PR application they are gonna transfer the missing money from its funds. Some people have mentioned...

Yes, it is. Mine has been showing that message for over 3 months. You will have to be very patient because this is the part when you wait a long time for your medical request (March/April applicants haven't gotten theirs yet from what I have read).

Yes, it is normal. You don't have to worry.

About PR application: The common mistake while linking PR application is putting number of applicants (if you are the only Primary applicant with no dependents) as 1 instead of 2. If you have not tried that yet I would suggest putting 2 applicants instead of 1. That trick worked for me. About...

If you look at a few pages back on the forum people have said that IRCC took the missing $155 from the PR fee (I guess it would only happen if you paid the whole PR fee not only a part of it). They have mentioned it also depends on the officer because some of them got their OWP application...

If you are paying for OWP for the first time the total fee for it should be $255.

My friend went through an interview. They are going to question your relationship and how well you know eachother. They might ask you very personal questions like: Where does your husband/wife keep their socks/bras/underwear/shirt? What is their favorite food? Where did you meet? etc. I would...

I wrote a letter saying that me and my husband are applying for the sponsorship program and the marriage certificate is required for that. I also mentioned that my stamp in my passport expires in 6 months so that is why we need to be urgent about it. Here is our letter: *Address* RE: PROOF OF...

At the time of my application it was $255 if you are applying for the first time.

In Ontario we got ours within a week (2 weeks including delivery) after the wedding ceremony. We hired a guy who advised us to attach the proof of urgency along with our wedding form. I'm guessing it helped. The whole process of getting married in May was finished in 3 weeks with a marriage...

I see we have a similar timeline but my application was received in the office on June 26th and AOR July 26th. I have already received my OWP a while ago. We still don't have the sponsor's approval but I have read that SA AIP etc. come around the same time. I think we/you might get the medical...

In Ontario to apply with only OWP you need to be hired by an employer and have at least 6 months employment contract. You also have to be continuously in Canada for approx 160ish days - I don't remember the exact number. Or apply with AIP.

First I got a confirmation email and a letter in my account that my OWP was accepted. The letter showed my document number and expiration date of OWP plus accepted suppporting document - my passport. The week after I got an official work permit by mail.

I'd recommend reading previous posts on the forum about OWP. I'd also advise you to check the processing time for the OWP on the cic website because processing times change slightly throughout the months. The time it takes depends also on how the officer is going to "rate" your application. If...

Each Open Work Permit is different. I recommend checking processing times for OWP because they update it every month. Mine took me less than 3 months but a person who applied 2 weeks before me got it 2 - 3 weeks after me. I think it depends on what you put in the work permit with what kind of...

Do what you think it's right. If you know/feel like they are needed you can pay extra 25$ (Toronto fee) for the fingerprints and have them ready to submit.

There is no letter/email which requests OWP to be linked into your account. You have to do it yourself like I explained in the previous comment. I think it is available for linking on the same day of AOR for PR. If you have been living in Canada for 2 years it means it is more than 6 months so...

I sadly can't see your screenshots. Your first mistake is using the same application number for PR and OWP. The application number you got is only for the PR sponsorship. Your OWP application has its own number. To link your OWP : 1. Link your application 2. Category: temporary residence...

I got the request at the time when I linked my application. I would suggest checking the status of your application online through ECAS - the online application search tool which allows you to see what IRCC was sending to you all this time.

You go to an airport (where you landed in Canada)and ask people for an immigration office or simply go to the helpdesk. They are usually in front of the entrances. There is no circumstances. You just need to convince an officer that you want to stay longer. Simply say that you want to stay...
