I would suggest checking after 8pm. In my case my owp approval arrived after 8pm. I remember checking it in the morning and around 7pm with no changes. You also get an email that "you have a new message" in your account once your owp gets approved. The message is a bit delayed by 1h in my case...

Oh so you didnt get a request letter from IRCC asking for police check and schedule A, did you? If not then you can't/it's not recommended to send it on your own. In that case wait for a request letter. I think if you send it just because you feel like it, it might create a mess in your application.

They will let you know when they start processing your background check after that you wait for a medical request. After you submit your medical papers it will be a last step - getting your AIP (from what I've seen on this forum they often skip Sponsor Approval) and wait for your interview date...
