I've had to call the CIC call centre myself, but I couldn't get a hold of an agent today. My concern is that I am already 13 days away from the oath ceremony, despite just learning what my oath date is today, and if I have to make travel preparations, 12 days to leave town if I have to head...

I'm still waiting for my oath letter to come in the mail for those details. I'm hoping that it will be here in town, instead of having to either drive, or fly back south. Especially with concern for my better half.

Given that people's situations may change, sometimes quite suddenly, how can anyone make a definition of intent (which is a pretty vague term) for legal purposes? Isn't 'intent' already implied when you apply for citizenship, anyway?
