Hello friends,

I am glad to inform you that we attended the oath ceremony yesterday at Scarborough Centre.

The ceremony was magnificent. The judge and the clerk were simply amazing. The judge was so friendly that he even had time to bend on one knee to play with my kids before giving them their certificates.

I want to thank all of you for your support through the journey.
God bless.

CONGRATS...

Quick question
My test is tomorrow I hope that there is not going to be a question about who is the pm and the opposition party leader. It might confuse me, since I'm not sure if they updated their questions or not.
Regarding the location
The address they gave me is :

200 town court Center.
Is this inside the mall ? Or close by ?
Do I need a cab ? ( I am @ bloor and yonge) Or can I get there with TTC ?
Wish me luck,
Ari

Actually, I could see them asking it just to see if you're following current events, but I think for the time being, seeing that Justin Trudeau is now considered the Prime Minister-designate, then I would guess that Stephen Harper is still technically the Prime Minister until Trudeau officially takes office, whenever that is.

Bloor and Yonge? You could probably take the subway all the way to Kennedy Station before transferring to the Scarborough Line. After you get off at Scarborough Station, the CIC office is practically right there, just south of the tracks, while the mall is on the north side.

Good luck!

hi there.. anyone who took the test on 2nd Sept and still waiting as well?
Hope it will be our turn to get the oath soon.. ;)

It's on the 3rd floor btw.

From the station turn right, spot the red line.

And Harper is still the PM. Trudeau haven't taken the office yet. He will soon :)

My understanding is Scarborough office is not yet done with their August test takers batch! We have to wait!

Unless you're lucky like mrs.vip... Looks like normally it's 3months :/

i think his case was not based on luck was based on the fact that she was 2012 or 2013 applicant. I noticed those applicants get their oath right away and the rest wait between 2 to 4 months

I agree with Shaazdeh

I've noticed the same. The longer your files been in process - the faster you get your oath (example; ive seen people who've had the same test dates as me but received their oath earlier cos their files been in the system longer)
