Congrats!!! What did the email say? Just wondering because I never got one.

Hello riverrock55, I found the number of our MP online, then called them to set up an appointment. I did not talk to the MP, her assistent took care of everything. I thought it would take a while but I called them on a Friday, got the appointment on Monday and heard back from them on Tuesday.

I'm already here! I came to Canada in April 2011. So all i have to do now is wait for the COPR to come in the mail and then we'll go down to the border, spend a day in Buffalo, eat at the Cheesecake Factory (my personal reward to myself, lol) and LAND!! ;)

I was just checking my ecas like I do daily, but didn't really expect to see anything new... until I saw... DECISION MADE!!!!!!!!! ;D I had to check several times to make sure I'm not seeing things lol!! Good luck for all of you still waiting!! This is proof they are still working in Vienna!

Hello, you can also submit an online or paper application to extend her visitor visa. It should be done 30 days before her status expires, so you can do it in the next 2 weeks. Until a decision for the extension is made, she is able to stay under "implied status". As for your actual question...

Ha, sounds about right. But it seems like they approved our relationship and everything else, so when the background checks are done, we should be finished..

Oh wow... We're still in process.. for more than 3 months now. We contacted our MP last week and they told us they're still doing background checks.. no idea why that's taking so long.. :/
