to yaanlpc What document did they request from you in Feb, 2016??? I see you had been waiting about 7 months for PPR after that. I got document request too, and they told me my security is still in process.

Does it show security passed on your GCMS? Others say that it never shows passed, or it is blank?

I sent them inquiry last Monday and received respond last Friday. Their answer was only one sentence like: We confirm that your application is in process. I asked them why I had a delay and if they could orient me in relation to time it would further take.

They will send your application back to you with the explanation letter why they considered it as incomplete. You should fix your mistakes or missed documents, or maybe you forgot signature, then you can send it to your visa office. Some people got the same situation like you in this forum in...

I am still waiting, with the hope to get PPR next week:)

My GCMS due date passed as well, but maybe they start final review after due date. It does not mean anything to us, but I think it is kinda system reminder for officers that application should go to the next final level.

I have 4 of them, because I got 4 additional doc requests. But they have appeared on my ECAS 2-3 days after request. I would call CIC to check what additional doc they want from you.
