I’m in the same boat. Mine was issued after March 18, so I can’t travel yet. But hopefully the borders are open and I can travel in July.

I think they should be aware of the restrictions. But yeah I think it’s worth putting the link and explaining why you can’t travel before the expiration date. Do you know for sure that COPR Landing from USA is considered non essential?

If you have a job offer in Canada but COPR was approved after March 18, is it considered essential travel? The website lists if you need to travel for work, then it is considered essential. Unsure if that applies to COPRs, or just people with PRs

Did you find out the answer? I’m not sure if COPR landing for settling down in Canada from USA is considered essential or not either.

When are you planning to land? I’m in the same boat. Can’t travel until the restrictions are lifted. My PR was approved after March 18 as well. Expiring August 6.

Same situation for me. PR visa expires on August 6. Unsure what to do until another month. I am from USA so the border restriction is until June 21.

The March 18 rule is on Canada IRCCs website. You can’t go until the restriction is lifted.

If GTU was formed from Gujrat University, then I’m sure they have your records. You can instruct them to send the envelope straight to WES but make sure they sign the back of the envelope.

I currently reside in the USA and COPR was issued after March 18. This article says the border closures end on May 21 for the Canada-US border. https://orders-in-council.canada.ca/attachment.php?attach=39170&lang=en So if these do not extend that means I can travel with a COPR?

Hi all, I am just wondering what would be a good way to plan the travel during the border closures due to COVID-19. I know no one can predict anything at the moment, but what would be a good date to travel after the borders open? My COPR is approved on 27 April 2020 and expires on 6 August...

I bought the FedEx label online and printed all the pages at home and included it with my passport. The FedEx office told me the same thing..

My return tracker got activated today. 13 Mar, passport delivered 30 Apr, application approved 12 May, return tracker activated Expected delivery 13 May. Sent from USA. My FedEx app didn’t update at all, but when I put in the tracking number on the FedEx website I can see the updates

Same here. Approved April 30 and still waiting for the return of passports...
