Have you tried contacting CIC? What us your current status I'm on the same boat but currently on student permit valid til Dec 2015. I'm wondering if I can apply open work permit. I have AOR for FSW EE.

That makes sense to me so you mean to say FSW applicants who received an ITA will be re-assessed by CIC using the 67 point scale in order to get PR? And the 1200 points used in EE system is used for FSW applicants in order to get into the pool? Is my understanding correct coz CIC site did...

Do you mean to say they assess the FSW application differently under EE system, not the same old 67 points system ? Because before u get 10 points for arrange employment

I'm in AB right now, not all employers here are willing to nominate staff for AINP. If you should move here make sure your employer is willing to nominate you. I'm about to apply CEC in February 2014 but since NOC 6212 has been removed I'm worried on which category to apply.

So if that's the case, what are the options for NOC 6212 or Food Service Supervisors then? Anyone? Thanks

Devastating that NOC 6212 or 6311 Food Supervisors in new NOC has been ineligible to apply under CEC. What are our other options to be a permanent resident using this NOC? I'm running out of time :(
