I'm in AB right now, not all employers here are willing to nominate staff for AINP. If you should move here make sure your employer is willing to nominate you. I'm about to apply CEC in February 2014 but since NOC 6212 has been removed I'm worried on which category to apply.

Sent my Application today :-X Crossinng fingers until weekend

Is internet auditor part of NOC B or A?

apply under Alberta work experience class , you dont need anything from employer, link is below , only issue is if you are in calgary they may have reached the quota for calgary , cause its bigger city and more applicants , one of my friends got refussed due to this reason , but its worth a try , hurry you have till nov 28 to submit it
good luck

This is usually NOC 1111 (could be 2171 if you're an IT auditor). Both are skill level A.

Seton, how do you determine if something is skill level A or B?

I know managerial positions are 0, but I couldn't see anything on CIC's website differentiating A and B.

Use the matrix: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/html/Matrix.html

Search for the first three digits of your NOC. The row indicates your skill level 0, A, B, etc.

It would be helpful if the pages for each occupation stated what NOC level they're at.

Hi I sent the complete application package on November 8 and after sending I came to know that rules are changing from November 9, and my file has not been received yet, according to Canada post it will be received on 14 November. I just want to know if the immigration will still consider my application under NOC 6311, I also validated my forms in September or October.
And my application is genuine because I am actually working in health care under that job title as food service supervisor.

And if immigration doesn't accept my file then what should I do then, I already have experience in this category for almost 17 months now and still working.

Anybody have any Idea?

Thanks

:'( I sent my application Nov 8 too.
CIC clearly said they are not accepting me as after 9 Nov applicant.
I'm so frustrated and don't know what to do.

This is so unfair. >:(

The rules are in place until they get changed again, they don't 'expire'. The quota of 12,000 is valid until October 31, 2014 and will then be renewed or changed, but probably not removed.
