SLU updated on 26th of August 2015 with back date i.e. processing started 13/02/2015. PER is 29th January and application date 03/11/2014. No further updates.

It is normal as the ecas is bahving totally different than before.

It seems they are working in Australian online account style. It is called ImmiAccount for online status check of the applications.

I am not sure but I heard the same thing for online Account of Australian Immigration dept. There ImmiAccount show all the updates for the applicant and may be the CIC is following the same pattern Now.

Now a days the trend of SLU are same as you mentioned. Most of the applicants received SLU are having the same type of date i.e. earlier than the PER. Hope for the MR soon.

Dear, I have the same experience in June 6th 2015. I received same type of email but there was no new either in EE profile or ECAS. My Application number for FSWP 2014 and EE are different. Is this the same case for you also?
