Processing time update: No changes as of June 20 (today) :(

Just wanted to pop on this thread. I was originally on the old buffalo thread, so I figured I'd hop on this one. After reading all the hullaballoo, I'm hoping times for buffalo applicants go smooth (and with all applicants too). :)

;D Status back down to 82 days! Working on Feb 29th applicants!

Checking back in. My spouse visited for about 3 weeks so I've been MIA during that time. I'd love to see a jump in the application time! ;D I also read that some (or all) of the march applicants were sent to the Ottawa office. Is this true? Do we have any confermation from the cic?

Finally an update....uh....90 days :'(

:-\ 1/3 of the way there through phase one. I guess it's something, I'm just glad to have put in the application as soon as we did. Now my days are spent diligently watching/refreshing the Processing Time page on the CIC website. >:( Update to follow.

Just a note, I got my FBI background check back in 4 weeks. The FBI website predicts 8 weeks. So yes, go ahead and start on it, and hopefully they'll process your request efficently.

Well I know that they took the payment since my card was charged. I guess I'm going to have to wait until they open it then :(

Here's a question that hopefully someone here can help me with. We mailed in our application on April 25th, and it was delivered on April 27th (according to the tracking on Canada post). Is there any way to check with the CIC that they have recieved the application, or is that only when they...

Alright, if I go with just a couple of suitcases then and with out any of my personal belongings, would they still deny me entry even if I travel by car (my car which is registered in Rhode Island)?

Thank you for the clarification. We will be doing an inland application, so I need to know the local CIC office in British Columbia. Has anyone ever driven over the border to apply for inland family sponsorship?
