Ah ok, well LA is supposedly going through final processing of my application. Hopefully they are the ones that request my passport.

If I ever get my PPR, should I send a self addressed stamped envelope with my PP? I've heard some people do that and they get theirs PP's back faster. Any opinions?

Is there anywhere on the GCMS that mentions whether or not an interview will be required? I don't think I need one since at the bottom of the notes section it says "Eligibility passed." but I wanted to know if there is a way to conferm this.

Hi! Apparently my file was transfered to LA and no one in Ottawa told me. Can you please add me to the spreadsheet! App Sent: Apr. 25th 2012 App Rec: Apr. 27th 2012 Sponser Approved: Aug 2nd 2012 Transfered to LA: Sept. 7th 2012 PR is from Rhode Island Currently in Process.

So my husband just got our GCMS back. We were apparently transfered to LA back in September. They've also downloaded our medicals roughly a month ago. Hopefully we'll get a request soon! ;D *crosses fingers*

So it looks like the Ottawa office is backing up with applications. People in March and April are still waiting for PPR. I hope they clear up and get through the mess soon. :(

Hey Proco, when you contacted CPP-O they told you that they're working on cases recieved at the endo of September (am I correct in interpreting what you have written)?

Ok, so since I'm not in Canada, I can't request it. Not even via AIA (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp). If I want my sponsor to release it for me, where can I find the release of information form?

I've seen these Acronyms around and I couldn't find them in the top post. Can someone tell me what CAIPS and GCMS stand for, and clerify what they mean?
