We were asked to bring his passport, RCMP & FBI records, RPRF Receipt and for his daughter, birth certificate and passport pics. We are however going to bring additional proof just to load them up with any and everything we can :D

Interview is in 2 weeks and 2 days - which I can hardly believe :D I will be sure to check in and give an update as soon as I find the time to do so, I want to be able to at the least share what questions were asked for all those with their interviews in the coming weeks afterwards. :p

Maybe check in with Kingston VO? If it wasn't for the fact we require the form from them prior- I would suggest just getting one to have on hand. However, I have also read that VO's sometimes give an extension for medicals/pcc's...

I leave this Saturday and will be there for the interview, and am praying hard I don't have to come home alone. I'm also very excited to hear about the results of the interviews that are happening this week.

:D December is atrocious! It's criminal how much they charge people that time of year. They're seriously expensive enough to have to take out a second mortgage.

You know, I have actually read of some instances where when they knew the sponsor was there, they would bring the sponsor in to ask a few questions... I can't recall if I read this in the old Kingston thread or if it was other visa offices... but there is always a chance they could/would.

Since there was such a good sale when I booked my flight, I booked my husbands as well... with hopeful optimism. :) Worst case scenario, we have to cancel and loose a little but get some credit to be saved for when he does get his visa- but for me it seemed more cost effective than waiting till...

He went to a hearing though, twice, while in custody with CBSA. The notice of removal indeed does explicitly mention that it is a one year exclusion order. He also has a letter that was signed by him and CBSA agents detailing the exclusion order and how it is a one year ban. Again, my feeling...

We just received word that the RCMP record arrived at the office of the 3rd party we used. I was just saying this morning... that our interview was originally scheduled to be this coming Tuesday, but it was a hidden blessing that it was rescheduled, seeing how we didn't have the fingerprints...
