How does it feel to actually get an ITA?

To be honest man, I would ignore posts like this, you have no idea if that person actually did what he was supposed to. Requirements are very strict and everyone should triple check everything they've submitted before transmitting the application. If he actually did provide it and CIC made a...

How does it feel to actually get an ITA?

I feel the same way. Until the PR card is physically in my hands, it's stressful times all round ::)

    Need Help - 444 Points

CRS has never drawn that low, so while there is a very small chance, bare in mind such a low draw would be unprecedented. Your best shot is do as suggested in the posts above.

Can i visit or work in USA if I canada immig.

You cannot work in the USA if you immigrate to Canada. You are perfectly free to visit the USA, but you will be subject to the same immigration checks as everyone else, your Canadian PR does not grant you special privileges.

Right to PR fee - can it cause delay if paid later?

Your application will progress immediately upon payment. If you can, just pay in advance, you'll be able to get a refund on it anyway in the event that your application fails.

How does it feel to actually get an ITA?

Then you finish working in the soup kitchen for 3 months and are told you'll have to wait another 6 months while the bank decides whether you've paid back the full amount :P

Canada Border Services Agency testing lie detection system

Unbelievably stupid idea. It's extremely well known how unreliable lie detector tests are, hence why they aren't permissible as evidence in court.

    Post-ITA Proof of Funds Alternative

Six months of statements should be fine, but as insurance you could also phone your bank and ask if they will provide some kind of "banker's reference" letter. It doesn't have to contain all of the information for what CIC asked for, but at least a document to show that you are in good standing...

    Reference Letter

It's highly unlikely they will reject it if you explain why you haven't provided exactly the things they wanted. They understand that sometimes these things happen and that it's out of your hands, and if they need anything else to verify your claim, they will ask for it.

    Reference Letter

Do you have pay stubs? Employment contract? Any letters from the company addressed to you? If your old employer refuses to provide it then there's nothing you can do about that, just provide what you can and explain it in the letter of explanation. Make sure to also provide contact details for...

Express Entry - e-APR Submitted in November 2016

I submitted mine a few days ago, it can take up to 4 weeks to receive the CoPR but that's probably just an upper estimate. I imagine it all depends on various things, like office workload at the time, I searched on the forum and apparently some people have received it back in a couple of weeks...

    Passport uploads

I uploaded only the pages that have stamps on them (omitted all blank pages) and my application was processed just fine.

    Total fees for PR

You'll pay C$550 (non-refundable) to make an application and C$490 (refundable if your application is rejected or cancelled for any reason) for the Right of Permanent Residence, so C$1040 in total each.

Express Entry - e-APR Submitted in November 2016

I'm applying from London. The instructions in the PPR are as pasted above and seem to be to mail only the two photographs directly to the immigration division in the Canadian High Commission in London. I'm just worried that it's poorly worded above and they're actually also expecting the return...

Express Entry - e-APR Submitted in November 2016

Quick question: After you've received the PPR letter, if you're visa-exempt and using MyCIC, do you have to mail/courier a return envelope to the VO along with the two photographs requested? My PPR letter says this: As the letter said "please mail only your photos" I've only mailed my photos...

Post-PPR: How to submit 'Updated information chart' to MyCIC?

I received my PPR a couple of weeks ago, and it lists the documents I have to submit as following: I've bolded the area relevant to this thread. As I'm visa-exempt and using MyCIC, the letter asks me to upload this information to my MyCIC account. The problem is there is nowhere to upload the...

Just passed my UK driving test, which B.C driving license can I get?

So I just spoke to a guy at ICBC and he told me that I wouldn't have to start on a learner's licence, I'd be placed into the novice program in the GLP meaning I can drive on my own unsupervised, which is a huge relief!

Just passed my UK driving test, which B.C driving license can I get?

I understand this and that's fair enough, I'm not expecting to get a full licence straight off the bat since that wouldn't make sense, I was just wondering if I'd be exempt from any of the time restrictions in the GLP, specifically the 12 months before I can take the class 7 test. The website...

Just passed my UK driving test, which B.C driving license can I get?

As in the subject, I'm moving to B.C soon although I've only just passed my driving test last week. I originally received my UK provisional learners licence over 10 years ago, but since I only just passed my test, I presume I will have to enter the B.C graduated licensing programme. My question...
