That mean In one of the section you got lower score then other section say in writing u have 6.5 but in Speaking u have 8.5 Then they send result for additional checks. Don't worry should be good for you. I my case the haven't done so. So I will have to do enquirey on Exam. (Re-Evaluation).

Hi All, Just got my IELTS results, Score L - 8.5 R - 8 W - 6.5 S - 8 For writing I had done alot of scribing on the paper, But I am sure content was woth 7 atleast. Should Go for Re-mark or retest.

No you can't do that Need to use All from one test. you can choose which test to use. But can't mix and match section scores.

you can use 1 IELTS result. Not your best module result. So you need to get L - 8 R, W & S -7.
